Do Your Keyword Research…

It’s all about keywords…the right keywords ensure that your website gets found and drives traffic to it. The right CPC keywords also determine which types of ads are displayed on your website or blog. You don’t want your website to be cluttered with all types of ads that make no sense whatsoever.

For example, if you have a website that reviews tech products, you don’t want ads for ladies’ apparel! The only way to ensure that this does not happen is to be very careful while selecting keywords. Use Jaaxy or Google Keyword Planner, find the right keywords, build your content around them and ensure that the keyword density is not more than 3% at any cost.

    hi Emanuel!
Ok let me see if I got this right. If you have very targeted keywords in your posts, it will affect the ads Google AdSense places on your site? Because I used to have AdSense on my site. But I took it off as the ads were never related to my niche. I did not like not having control over what was on my site. And I felt it took away from the authority of the site as it was not relevant. hence why I now have affiliate ads. is there a way to somewhat “choose” the ads that go on your site? And it seems to me that one would have a get a lot of visitors per day to be able to make a living with AdSense.

Hi Emily, At this time, AdSense only targets ads based on overall site content, delivered through your keywords.

If you’d like to display ads related to specific topics on your website, I recommend including more text-based content about these topics, including complete sentences and paragraphs, to assist Google´s crawlers

in gathering information about your pages and determining relevant ads to display. Please note that it may take up to 1 or 2 weeks before any changes you make have an effect on your ad targeting.

      I really appreciate your comment.

Thanks for the great info. I have been experimenting with adsense for a little while now, but have made very little. I didn’t realize you could also have video ads. Is that something you can choose in your adsense account?

I also didn’t think about the size of the ad but it makes complete sense.

Thanks for the great post. 🙂

Hi Melody, I am glad to know that you liked my post about The Best Way to Make Money with Google AdSense.

Video Ads are very popular and present excellent profit making opportunities on AdSense. To use video ads you must create a channel on your Youtube Account, you must upload a video, and you must associate your Adsense Account to your Youtube Account to start earning revenue from your video ads, basically is this.

About the ads size, I always recommend “the bigger, the better” it works very well. You should try!

      I hope that helped.

Thanks a lot for your comment.

I’ve been wondering how Google Adsense works. I assumed that it automatically selected ads based on keywords, but it’s possible to choose your own. I like the point that we shouldn’t assume we’ll make anything–it’s up to the customer we’re targeting.

There are several ads on the right side of this page–are most from Adsense?

Hi, you´re right, Google automatically delivers ads that are targeted to your content or audience.

Google´s technology uses such factors as keyword analysis, word frequency, font size, and the overall link structure of the web, in order to determine what a webpage is about and precisely match Google ads to each page.

Yes, I have on my right Sidebar 3 ads from Google Adsense.

      Thanks for your comment.

      Have a great day.

    Hi Emanuel
Thanks for this information on Google Adsense. I have been thinking about trying it out for a while now but seeing as my websites are only 4 months old I am first working on adding quality content, getting my website ranked and of course gaining traffic. I don’t see the point in trying this out until I have a decent amount of visitors. Can you tell me how many visitors a day I should be aiming for before I attempt Adsense?

    1. Emanuel Post author

Hi Lynne, if you have already at least 15 articles on your website you should be eligible to sign up for a Google Adsense account.Google Adsense.

Google Adsense is great if you have already a large number of visitors to your site.
Its up to you, to sign up right away, or wait a little bit longer.

But even if you only have 10,20 visitors a day, you can sign up already, because it takes some to get your website approved by Google.

Remember – More visitors==> More Clicks==> More Revenue.

      Thanks for your comment.
